And you can still win real cash: the winner of each tournament takes home a cash prize. Buying food and drinks at the host venue is appreciated (and earns you Bonus Points), but it's never required.

Absolutely — and please do. We'll teach you the game, walk you through your first hands, and you'll even start with extra chips just for being new. Most players pick up the basics in a single night.

The league minimum is 18. Keep in mind that individual host venues may set a higher limit — many are 21+ establishments. Check the venue listing on the Schedule page before you head out.

Yes. That's the whole idea. You pay nothing to play, and the winner of each tournament takes home real cash — typically around $100, with the exact amount set by the host venue. Our venues put up the prize because a poker night fills their room.

Every tournament also pays out league points — Regular Points for your finish and big hands, Bonus Points for podium spots. Points build all season toward the Tournament of Champions, where roughly $600–$800 in cash is split at the final table. Nightly prize amounts will be posted with each host venue.

Head to the Second Chance table. It runs all night with fixed 100/200 blinds, players deal for themselves, and winners take home points. Getting felted on the first hand doesn't end your evening.

Nope. Come when you can — every tournament is open to everyone. The more you play, the more points you stack toward the championship, but there's no attendance requirement.

Sure. Grab a seat at the venue, watch a few hands, and jump in when you're ready. Fair warning: watching usually turns into playing by the second week.
